Charlotte Lauth
Recruit Profile
Team player, strong stick skills and lacrosse IQ. Play midi and attack. I am best at transitioning the ball from defense to attack, interceptions, cutting and shooting.
I have a strong lacrosse IQ, with a positive attitude and I am a hard worker that has had to work harder than most other players. I started playing when I was 7, a few years after my rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis and quickly learned if I could be successful at lacrosse, I could do anything. I never let the diagnosis define me, but it wasn't always easy. I started playing travel when I was 9 and shortly after, I started remission and am now officially RA free! I attribute all of this to a can do anything attitude, great coaching and drive. I made the Yorktown Varsity team as a sophomore and I am the leading scorer now on Team 91 Tristate club. I scored 22 goals, 15 draw controls, and 7 assists during the 2022 summer tournaments. I was chosen to be on Team 91 National 2024 team. I pride myself on being able to track, anticipate and intercept the ball, creating turnovers. I am comfortable dodging, shooting and finishing with both hands. I also use my speed to transition the ball and cut into open spaces for quick stick shots. I shoot right as well as left handed comfortably. I am a leader on the attack and communicate effectively with my teammates in setting picks and assisting goals. I train with Jack Kensil of 2Wolves training as well as Velocity off season. I volunteer coaching youth lacrosse. I have a 3.7 GPA my junior year. I also tutor ESL students during the off season. I am involved in Student government as well as am a member of the crop which is a school spirit organization.
