Platt joined the NEC Men's Lacrosse Coaching Staff in July 2019.

The former dual-sport athlete at NEC will help oversee games management, managing work-study personnel, transportation, and facilities scheduling.

A 2019 graduate of New England College, Platt was a four-year member of both the men's ice hockey and lacrosse teams. Platt finished his four years in Henniker, maintaining a 9.40 career goal against average to go with his 46 wins and a .547 save percentage. He capped off his senior campaign with the team's fourth-straight conference championship, before picking up a 12-10 win over Norwich University in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, before falling to No. 3 Tufts University.

Platt earned 1st Team All-Conference recognition twice (2018-19) and 2nd team All-Conference back in 2016. In the classroom, the Kinesiology major was named to the New England Hockey Conference All-Academic team three straight years (16-19), while his senior campaign, he was named to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) Academic All-New England Team.
