Truman Southern
Recruit Profile
Team Player. Aggressive, Defense-Minded Attack. Killer Shot. Good in transition and knows when to shoot.
I started playing lacrosse in 6th grade. I was hesitant about it but all my friends were playing. I started out playing attack and hardly saw the field. The next year I picked up a long pole and was pretty good at defense and was named defensive MVP. My 8th grade year I led the team to a middle school championship. My freshman year I split time playing LSM and made key contributions to the varsity team. In the playoffs my freshman year a starter got hurt and the players behind him were not very strong minded lacrosse players so I stepped up and started playing attack. My first game playing attack was in the playoffs and I had 1 goal and 2 assists with the win. We would then go on to lose in the state semi-finals. My sophomore year was great. I was playing with a very good attack core. Our midfield on the other hand was not so great. I had 31 goals and 14 assists on the year. 5 goals that were in the state semi-final in which we lost 10-11 in overtime. I have transferred to a new school for my Junior year. I and am glad to call my self a Capital and help make our run towards the state championship.
