COLLEGE TRANSFER W/4 YRS OF ELIGIBILITY - LOOKING TO MAKE AN IMPACT: Hardworking, communicative, supportive player on & off the field. Coachable, motivated, & ready to earn my spot.

I started my college career at the University of Tampa in the Fall of 2019. Great program, great coaches but a really large roster - even more so now with players holding over due to COVID. I decided to defer my first semester at Tampa this year and lost my spot due to the number of returning and incoming players. I was devastated, but ultimately realized it was a chance for me to start fresh and find a team where I could work hard, earn a spot, and make an impact! Right now, I'm working 4 part-time jobs, taking 3 colleges classes online, and am in the gym every morning Monday through Friday, working hard and getting stronger. I am a Journalism major with a minor in Business. I'm not afraid of hard work!

I started playing lacrosse when I was 12, later than most of my teammates. I was behind in skills and in game knowledge, but fell in love with lacrosse! This sport set me on the path to go farther than just high school. My middle school team was a brand new program the first year I played. We won a few games, but routinely got destroyed by the better, more experienced schools. My teammates got used to it, but not me. I was sick of losing and wanted to get better and keep playing. That led me to travel lacrosse - I first played for a club program in Ft. Mill, SC. It was the perfect opportunity for me to get a stick in my hand, improve my skills, and get on the field with new competition and new players. I played for them until my sophomore year when the team went under. I was captain of the JV squad at my high school as a sophomore, but didn't see as much playing time as I wanted. I wasn't going to let that drag me down though. The summer before my senior year, I played for the Carolina Miners travel club in Concord, NC with Coach Brian O'Rorke, where I had my best season of high school lacrosse yet. I learned so much from him, and got the support and encouragement I needed to improve my skills. Since then, I've worked hard and have continued to grow and get better. I know I can play at the college level and am ready to prove it.
