Recruit Profile
I have a strong lacrosse IQ, great field sense, team player and team leader, extremely coachable, multi-sport athlete.
I started lacrosse in 6th grade after watching my older sister play. I love playing both sides of the field. I'm mostly a Middie, taking the majority of draws. I am fortunate to receive ongoing draw specialist training from Sammy Jo Tracy which has really elevated my ability to self-draw or direct it to a teammate.
I was selected to Team WA in 2019, competed at the U19 National Tournament in MD in 5/2019, playing Defense. Was selected All-Conference North Sound (Midfield) for the 2019 season and Varsity captain. I was All-Conference Honorable Mention (Midfield) as a Freshman in 2018.
In the off-season, I play with Intrepid Lacrosse (PA) and Wasatch LC (UT) Multiple years playing at Sandstorm CA, The Grind Tournament PA 7/2019 (voted MVP), President's Cup FL 11/2019.
I am looking forward to being a collegiate athlete, following in my sister's footsteps of playing NCAA lacrosse. I come from an athletic family. My dad played college baseball, my mom is a retired triathlete. My uncle played college football and my cousin played college volleyball. Being challenged on the field pushes me to be a better player. I work with sports conditioning trainers at Engineered Sports to continue improving footwork, strength and speed. I love weight lifting.
I play select soccer for Rush Select G02 A Team as an outside mid and center mid. Our winter season 2018/2019, we went undefeated 12-0. Also won the Xtreme Cup Tournament in 8/2019. I am currently being recruited to play college soccer as well, but I am passionate about lacrosse and want to pursue playing lacrosse in college.
I scored a 5 on both the AP English Language and AP Psychology Exams my junior year. I took AP World History as a sophomore, scoring a 4.
I love working with special needs children and the elderly. I have volunteered with Everett Police Department serving Christmas dinner to senior citizens every year since I was 10. Each summer, I volunteer coach at two summer camps for under-served youth for soccer and softball. I also help coach youth girls lax. Fall 2020, I am a Peer Tutor for special needs HS students.
I look forward to being challenged both on the lacrosse field and in the class room.

Maria is an incredibly versatile player who gives her full-out effort on every play. She is an aggressive attacker who also sees the pass, cut, and pick for her teammates and is a strong defender. In the midfield, Maria's speed shines and her above-average body control only elevates her ability.
