Lucy Corry
Recruit Profile
Off the charts lax IQ, superior stick skills & always open. Crafty goal scorer & vocal leader. Cool, calm & collected... I put the ball in the net.
I pride myself on being one of the smartest players on the field, using my lacrosse IQ to anticipate plays before they happen. My strongest attribute is as an off-ball scoring threat where I use my size, speed, timing and stick skills to help our team score. My teammates trust that I will not only catch their passes in traffic but finish my shots, having led Wilton for the last 2 seasons with the lowest turnover margin and highest shooting percentage among varsity starters. I have a fast motor and thrive in the riding game, looking to create chaos wherever I can.
I have a team first attitude and want to win.

Throughout my time coaching Lucy across both Gold Coast and Wilton, some attributes come to mind: tenacious, a leader, sneaky and a true finisher. She's well rounded both on and off the field with her vision and lax IQ, as well as the first to hop on a ride from behind the cage, and get to the ball with speed. She's one of the few attackers I can give a quick play, and know she will execute. She's a risk taker, but calculated - not afraid to try to something new, but also puts her team first by making smart decisions with the ball. She's always OK to be thrown anywhere on the field - and as a coach, rest easy knowing she'll get the job done!
