My name is Josh Krolik and I currently attend St. Rita High School, graduating class of 2021. I am 5 10 and 180 pounds and play close defender and LSM. During my freshman year at St. Rita I played on the varsity team and I started as LSM. During my sophomore year I started on close defense. I have been playing club lacrosse for 7 years. I have received numerous MVP awards from New Wave Lacrosse, one of my club teams. I also played on the JV and Varsity team for the Southwest Jaguars (high school club team) in 8th grade. We won our division championship in both JV and Varsity that season. I am currently playing club lacrosse with Team Illinois and East Avenue Elite after competing with 1223 2021 Premier. I would like the opportunity to further my education and obtain a college degree, as well as play lacrosse at the collegiate level.

My hard work and dedication to both lacrosse and learning will be advantages to any team. My coaches and teachers tell me that one of my strongest assets is my work ethic. Coaches have also told me that I have a very high lacrosse IQ and solid stick stills. I hold a leadership role on my club team, furthering my goal to be a captain on my high school team junior and senior year. I currently enjoy volunteering as a Big Brother at St. Rita, mentoring the current Freshmen class. I also participate in the International Food club. This past year i made several All-Star team (Chicago Showcase 2019, D2 Showcase 2019, Can-Am Showcase 2019, Can-Am Top Defensemen 2019, and Midwest Elite Top 80 2019)

It is my aspiration to attend college and to attain a 4 year degree while also playing lacrosse competitively. My interest is peaked by the prospect of either joining the Army or pursuing an occupation in which I am able to help others subsequent to my education.
