John "Jack" Martinez
Recruit Profile
Highly coachable team leader on the transfer portal with three years of eligibility
My name is Jack Martinez, and I am currently a freshman midfielder at Lindenwood University. As I am sure youve heard, Lindenwood has decided to no longer field a Men's Lacrosse team after this season, so I have put my name into the transfer portal to look for new opportunities, starting in the Fall of 2024 with three years of eligibility. I believe I have the mental focus, physical size, athletic skill and academic aptitude to add value to your team and lead to shared success. Please feel free to reach out to Coach Lange at Lindenwood with any questions you have about my performance. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to connect with you to learn more about your program.
Thank you for your consideration,
Jack Martinez

Jack Martinez played for our ICE program in the summer of 2021 and quickly became the heart and soul of the 2023 team. He is a true leader who unifies a group and makes sure that his teammates feel included, empowered and invested. On the field, he is just starting to understand how he can use his size in conjunction with his skills to overpower most defenders and get into great scoring positions. He has a great outside shot and high lacrosse IQ. As he gets more comfortable in his body, he is going to be a versatile threat who creates matchup problems for defenses.

Jack has developed into a big offensive threat for us. With his size and athleticism he has the potential to play at a very high level. He has worked tirelessly to improve his game and is extremely coachable. His improves every week and continues to impress us with his ability to pick up new offensive concepts. Jack can play both midfield and attack, and poses a major match up problem for short sticks. He is a multi-sport athlete and would be a great addition to any program.
