I started playing lacrosse when I was in first grade. Since then I have completely fallen in love with the sport of lacrosse, and my hard work and dedication has not changed as I aged. My most recent accomplishment was making my high schools varsity team as a freshman. I was the only freshman on the team. I finished the season 4th on my team in goals. I pride myself in the ability to be physical and draw penalties. Alone, I brought our man up team on the felid an average of 2.5 times per game. The post season of that same year was a true underdog story, as our team beat the number 3 seed and 6 seed to bring us to the semifinals as a 14th seed. That post season I was the 2nd leading goal scorer on the team and sent our team to round two of the playoffs with a last second goal to put us up by 1. Just recently I was invited to The True national Prospect team to play in a tournament in Connecticut over the July 24th weekend and showcase my skills at the next level. In a recent tournament, The Denver Shootout, I lead my team in goals and assists as a midfielder. Our team ended up winning that tournament. As well as academics, I averaged a 3.9 GPA my freshman year taking Honors Math and Honors English. Next year I plan to take AP Euro as well as Honors Math and English. I have done some volunteering doing yard work for the elderly and feeding homeless in Downtown Salt Lake City.
