I started playing lacrosse in 8th grade. From that point on, much to the objection of my mom, I had a stick in my hand inside and outside. I play for Eureka High School as a midfielder. Our team goes up against the best private schools in the state. We believe playing the best competition only makes us better. Several of my teammates have gone on to play at the college level. I was second team all conference my junior year and have made the top team at both Rockwood United and St. Louis Samurai for two years straight.
I volunteer coach our youth program in the summer when I can because I care about the future of lacrosse at Eureka and I have two younger brothers that play. I want to leave the sport better than I found it.
Lacrosse not only brings me a lot of satisfaction and success on the field; it has also exposed me to a whole network of people throughout St. Louis. These young men push me to be better and I am grateful for their friendship and support.
My goal is to play lacrosse at the college level and work toward a degree in Criminal Justice.
