I began playing lacrosse when I was nine years old, my first year I made the All-star team while playing recreational lacrosse for the Davie Broncos. As an eight grader, I made the varsity lacrosse team for my school. During this time, I finished the season with seventeen goals and eight assists, as the youngest player on the team. During the past couple of years I have continued to perfect my skills - dodging from X and being a threat with both hands. I have also learned how to create space from my defender and finish strongly. As a sophomore, I was awarded Offensive player of the year for my varsity season. In addition to lacrosse, I also play on the varsity golf team. I have made the highest honor roll every semester from the beginning of high school with straight A's. I am currently taking several advanced placement classes including Calculus, Government, and Computer Science. When I am not training, I spend my spare time volunteering with several community organizations including Hands on Broward and The Cupboard. I am honored to be recently accepted into the Medical Internship program at Nova Southeastern University, and excited to begin my aspirations of becoming a physician.
