I am a student athlete with two main focuses: getting good grades in school to maximize my academic talents; and working to be the best I can be at the sport I want to play at the collegiate level, lacrosse. I am a dedicated and motivated player who always gives it my all on and off the field. Whether I am battling for a ground ball, finding the open man and making the right pass, working in the off-season on my shooting and passing, watching film to increase my lacrosse IQ, or consistently lifting weights to get stronger, my main goal is to improve my overall potential as a player. I am a very coachable player who will take on and rise to the challenge of any role a coach may assign to me with no questions asked. Even though I am quiet by nature, I try to be a role-model and leader for my teammates. I recently realized how much I loved lacrosse when I was quarantined twice because of exposure to COVID-19 in the classroom. The first quarantine happened as my school season began causing me to miss multiple games and a tournament for my club team. I was quarantined again, only days after returning to the field, missing even more games. Not being able to play and missing the competitive aspect of the game along with the team interaction made me realize how important lacrosse is to me. My goal is to attend a school that will further both my educational aspirations as well as allow me to compete in the sport that has become such an important part of my life.
