Ben Buskey is in his 5th season of coaching at Montana. He is the chief assistant coach who runs the defense.

Buskey immediately made an impact upon his arrival to the program quickly transforming the defensive unit to a hard hitting, low scoring game dominating force. Buskey comes to Montana via Hanover, NH and St. Lawrence University in upstate New York. He spent his college years playing football and lacrosse for the St. Lawrence Saints and went on to captain the lacrosse team during his senior season. At SLU he received All-Liberty League honors for lacrosse in 2006, 2007, and 2008 and for football in 2007. He was selected to the USILA All-American Lacrosse team (Honorable Mention) in 2006 and to the USILA Scholar All-American Lacrosse team in 2008. During his senior year he received the athletic departments Martha Finch award recognizing the most outstanding male senior athlete of the year. He graduated Cum Laude from St. Lawrence University in 2008 with a degree in Economics.
