I am a confident, coachable lefty goalie with good hands and quick, consistent clears. With a strong core and cardio, I stay composed outside the cage against aggressive attacks. I am also proud of my 4.4 GPA this year.
Lacrosse is a sport I have loved from the second I picked up my first stick at summer camp. Though I havent been playing lacrosse for as long as many who started out playing lacrosse when they were little, I have been doing sports from the time I was able to walk. I started out skating and playing soccer for a few years until I started playing competitive ice hockey in 3rd grade. I also was on a rock climbing team and recently started wrestling on my high schools varsity team.
I fully committed to every team I played for. When I started playing lacrosse in middle school I immediately joined a travel team, showing my dedication and passion for the game. By my second year of playing, I was selected as the primary goalie, but this didnt go to my head. I knew I still had to catch up to the teammates who had been playing a lot longer than me, so I spent a lot of my time working on hand-eye skills and making calls. I also like having a co-goalie because I enjoy both the competition and camaraderie.
As a quiet person in school, I had to work hard at communicating in the goalie spot. Over the years I think I've become a lot better at it. I recently started youth reffing, as a certified US Lacrosse referee, which I really enjoy because it hopefully gives a good experience for the younger players. It has also helped me a lot with my calls and being more vocal on the field. I am now a goalie coach for a middle/high school team, which has been very rewarding.
I will compete on three travel teams summer 2022, then head to Sweden to play on the Swedish National Lacrosse Team for the U-21 World Championships in Ireland. As a dual citizen, but born in the US, I am excited to represent my other home country in lacrosse and help grow the game.
I am looking for a small/midsized college with a strong Information Systems, Data Science, and/or Business Analytics program.
